PicoLO MANUFACTURER NOTES
Genuine Picosecond Laser Technology
Technically advanced and genuine picosecond pulsed Nd:YAG laser with dual wavelengths at 1064nm & 532nm, designed to efficaciously treat multiple indications including tattoo removals, scar corrections, and promoting skin rejuvenation.
The PicoLO impresses users with its sleek and compact design and patients by minimizing discomfort, pain, side effects, and downtime. The large spot size options allow more customized and efficient treatments equally benefitting both end-users.
Stability Determines The Results
Stability is the key factor to deliver optimal results based on conditions of output energy and pulse durations for both wavelengths 1064nm and 532nm. The arduously tested stability of the PicoLO has been proven to induce LIOB even at low fluences, which sets the system apart from other picosecond Nd:YAG lasers.
Photomechanical Effect
Picosecond technology is rapidly becoming the gold standard for a variety of treatment indications such as tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation due to its superiority in comparison with Q-Switched Nd:YAG nanosecond based lasers.
Utilizing the photomechanical effect to shatter tattoo ink particles, PicoLO patients report quicker recovery times and fewer treatments necessary for high patient/physician satisfaction. Picosecond Nd:YAG pulse durations are approximately 10 times shorter in comparison with nanosecond Q-switched Nd:YAG laser technology, and also has the advantage of a reduction in epidermal injuries and minimizing unwanted thermal damage from occurring.
DOE Fractional Technology
PicoLO handpieces are equipped with LASEROPTEK’s proprietary DOE Fractional Technology which is a generated fractional grid pattern for application in aesthetic laser treatments. This technology provides uniform fluence, ablation/penetration depth, safety and even distribution of energy.
Multiple Depth LIOB
The PicoLO 1064 Fractional Handpiece with the switch of a tip targets three different depths for a more result-oriented treatment, triggering Laser Induced Optical Breakdowns which create micro-injury zones in order to stimulate a healing process to promote skin rejuvenation. Physicians now have the ability to create LIOB in the dermis, upper dermis, and epidermis for enhanced results.
Treatment Indications
With the combination of both wavelengths, the PicoLO conveniently covers a wide array of treatment indications including:
Tattoo removals
Pigmentations
Scar correction
Skin rejuvenation
Designed For Convenience
Depending on the treatment indication and target region the recommended spot size is selected when moving forward with treatment mapping. Physicians require a customizable range of spot sizes and the PicoLO offers anywhere between 2mm to 20mm allowing maximum convenience when you require it.
procedures with low or no downtime at all.
Sleek Design
Device size is critical to the appearance and atmosphere of every clinic and determines how convenient it is to operate and is a key factor on how devices are assessed. PicoLO boasts a compact and futuristic design suitable for all clinics, no matter how big or how small they are. In 2017, the PicoLO was awarded for its outstanding design from the Korean Institute of Design Promotion (KIPA) and in 2018 from Asia Design Prize.
